Flight

On a particularly difficult mission, Tay finds herself piloting a Y-wing starship with limited experience. Sergeant Sky must help guide her while fighting a battle on the ground. | Another little snippet of a possible scene in my fan SW show! I really wanted to make it so that Tay didn't feel like a Mary Sue type character so I made some little adjustments to her skill set. Though she is a competent fighter with a lightsaber and is clever with her use of the Force, she lacks in hand-to-hand combat and has little piloting experience (mostly due to her training being cut short after her master's passing). Sky decides to train her after she has a near-death encounter with a Commando Droid. In return, Tay trains Leviathan Squad on how to wield a lightsaber. By the time of season two, Tay's skill set will have increased because of her experience with Leviathan Squad. I feel like it would help make her character arc of being a timid padawan to becoming a brave leader feel more earned.
