Star Wars - Tay Firin

May the 4th be with you! :D This is a character I made a while ago, her name is Tay Firin, she is a force user (not exactly a Jedi, she used to be but Order 66 happened). Also, I need some help with making gradients in Photoshop. You can probably see the weird effect the gradient is making on the background, does anyone know how to avoid that? It looks a bit distracting and I'm not sure how to get rid of it.
